Hi! I'm Ryn, the Founder of 5 Dogs Creative Haus
I don't remember a time when I wasn't creating something. Art has always been who I am, my joy and my healing. As a Certified Therapeutic Arts Practitioner, art instructor, and artist, I've spent years figuring out not just that creative expression helps people, but exactly how and why it does.
I embrace my inner 6 year old in everything I do, which means every class is a safe, joyful, judgment-free space, whether your child will be creating with me or you will. Everyone shows up exactly as they are. No experience needed.
It's messy being a human, and that's okay. Embrace it!
What Makes 5 Dogs Different
Your Way, Always
Kind of like Burger King... you get to make art your way because there's no "right" or "wrong" way at 5 Dogs. We aren't chasing perfection. Instead, you'll learn to value the process more than the outcome and appreciate your wonky lines. You make it your way, perfectly imperfect, like you.
Small Classes On Purpose
Kids' classes cap at 12. Adult classes cap at 15. Small Classes on purpose. Everyone gets personal feedback and guidance in a small group to build connection with. I walk everyone through each step of the project too, so nobody's suddenly freezes like Princess Anna in Frozen.
Fun First, Skills Sneak In
My classes are basically a really good smoothie. I've snuck the veggies and fruit in there... confidence, fine motor skills, creative problem-solving, but you're having way too much fun laughing and coloring outside the lines to notice.
I Teach Every Class
It's me in every room, whether that's your kid's class or yours. I've spent years learning how to actually let myself play again, and I bring that knowledge to every student and every class.
